The Structure of Screw Conveyor

 (1) There are three types of spiral blades of screw conveyors: solid spiral surface type, belt spiral surface type and blade spiral surface type. LS type screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powdery and granular materials.

(2) The spiral blades of the screw conveyor have two directions of rotation: left-hand and right-hand.

(3) The types of screw conveyors include horizontal fixed screw conveyors and vertical screw conveyors. Horizontal fixed screw conveyors are the most commonly used type.

(4) At the material outlet end of the LS screw conveyor, a 1/2 to 1 turn reverse spiral should be installed to prevent powder from clogging the end.

(5) The screw conveyor consists of three parts: the screw machine body, the inlet and outlet and the driving device.

The screw conveyor machine main body consists of a head bearing, a tail bearing, a suspension bearing, a spiral, a casing, a cover plate and a base.

The driving device consists of a motor, reducer, coupling and base.
