How to reduce the noise in the working of vibrating screen?

Screening of vibrating screen must be realized through vibration. But vibration is the primary cause of producing noise, with high sound level, much and complex sound source. We have confirmed the noise source by multiple tests and put forward some effective measures:

1. Fasten all components of vibration screen, especially the screen plate which needs replacing often, to avoid extra vibration caused by the loosening of individual component.

2. Replace the punching steel screen plate with polyurethane screen plate or rubber screen plate with small modulus of elasticity and low impacting noise.
3. Affix rubber plate at the lateral plate of screen box, feeding port, discharging port and material receiving chassis. This can effectively restrain the high-frequency vibration of lateral plate and reduce radiated noise.
4. Replace steel gear wheel with flexible spoke gear, namely use the rubber elastic body to transfer torque and absorb the vibration produced by gear’s mesh in and out.


5. Replace steel spring with rubber spring to reduce impact.
6. Retrofit soft sound-insulation cover outside the exciting vibrator body.
7. Take damping treatment to the inner and outer sleeves of bearing. The rolling body of bearing can be made into hollow rolling body or add damping material into the hollow rolling body inner. This can reduce the bearing vibration and noise.
