Reasons and repairing methods of the too hot bearing of rotary vibrating screen

In the using process of vibration screen, the bearing of exciting vibrator is often too hot. It has no obvious effect even feeding oil. Reasons are as below:

1. Choose the wrong bearing. Without using the special bearing of exciting vibrator. The radial clearance of bearing is too small to let it bear the high frequency vibrating load of vibration screen. So choosing the large clearance bearing is necessary.

2. The thermal expansion space of bearing and shaft of vibration screen is not enough. It is mainly behaved in when the producing time is too long. The reason is that the bearing cover presses the bearing outer ring tightly without thermal expansion space. When the temperature rises, the bearing will expand to gore the bearing cover tightly without radial clearance. The main handling method is adding pads with certain thickness at the cover part.

3. The bearing lacks oil or there is little or too much oil. The phenomenon of lacking oil will happen without the inspection of oil feeding condition for a long time. And then the heating phenomenon happens. The bearing will be damaged when serious. To solve this phenomenon, open the cover for inspection regularly. Feed oil timely and the oil can’t reach the cover with one third space.

4. The outer environment is harsh. The coal and slime’s entering of bearing cover is also one of the reasons of bearing fever. So often check the bearing sealing condition to prevent the outer coal, slime, water and others from entering the inner bearing.
