What should be noticed before using the vibrating motor which has just gone through hibernation?

Sometimes the vibration screen will be laid idle for a long time because of some special conditions. So what should be noticed about the rerunning vibration screen after its long-time idling, especially the hibernation?

1. Before using the vibration screen with long-time idling, measure the vibrating motor stator, winding each phase and winding insulation resistance against ground.

2. Remove the internal left material, dust and others. Replace the bearing grease timely.


3. In the district with more rain or wet environment with more rain and snow in winter, the vibrating motor’s iron core and winding insulation surface will be damped and condensed into water mist by the surrounding moisture. It will decrease the insulation resistance of vibrating motor. If using the vibrating motor again directly, it will cause insulation breakdown. Then it requires the drying process. We can heat the winding by copper loss and then dry the vibrating motor by running it in non-load for 2-3 hours. Finally, feed hot air into it by fan or heat it by heating element. The vibrating motor will be dried fast by these.

    The vibrating motor after its hibernation will well match the vibration screen to get into the production directly by finishing the above points. And it can also ensure the service life of vibration screen to a certain extent.
