What should we do to reduce the jamming phenomenon of screw conveyor?

The measures we can adopt are as follows:

1. The technical parameter of screw conveyor should be selected reasonably and the screw conveyor should be operated and used strictly according to the specified requirement, such as non-load start and stop, feeding evenly, to avoid appearing questions.

2. The material should not be mixed with impurity and others to avoid breaking the machine when feeding.
3. The lateral size of suspending bearing should be as small as possible to avoid the occurrence of blockage.
4. Install material level indicator and blockage sensor on the conveyor. Install anti-blocking valve on the cover plate at the discharging end.
 

How to improve the working efficiency of screw conveyor? The measures we can adopt generally are as follows:
a. Install air-suction pipe and vent at the head and bottom of conveyor. Rivet or splice anti-skid device on the head bearing surface.
b. There should be enough space around the conveyor for ventilation, maintenance and others. Its workplace should be clean and neat.
